GOALS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
   

Chemical Dependency Education

Treatment at STEPS is based on the disease model of addiction which states that there is a cause, course and predictable outcome to the progression and abuse of mood altering chemicals.

 

  
  STEPS incorporates Parenting Skills Training and the opportunity to put these into practice under guidance and supervision.
 

Upgrade educational levels and increase job skills.  Our clients have the opportunity to receive education and treatment and to develop self-worth and spirituality.

Preparation for integrating into community activities, (i.e., GED, job training) through a gradual re-entry program supported and directed by STEPS treatment staff.

STEPS promotes exposure to creative use of leisure time and the opportunity to explore alternatives to drugs and education of relapse prevention.
