Welcome to STEPS, a private not-for-profit, community-based organization providing a continuum of quality, comprehensive substance use treatment services and education to individuals, including those with co-occurring disorders, regardless of age, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. Prioritizing those who are indigent, pregnant, postpartum, have children and/or IV drug users in Central Florida.

Founded in 1983 by a group of concerned citizens STEPS has been dedicated to serving the needs of the community ever since.  Our clients are recognized as individuals who possess the inner resources necessary to create the desired positive change in their lives. Treatment consists of assisting clients with accessing and utilizing the necessary resources available to live as responsible individuals and productive members of their community.
