The Science of Drug Abuse and Addiction from the National Institute on Drug Abuse     Specialized Treatment, Education and Prevention Services Inc. is a private, not-for-profit, community based organization that offers comprehensive substance abuse prevention, intervention, education and treatment services to women, men, and their children regardless of age, race, religion or national origin. Our priority is the substance-abusing woman who is pregnant, postpartum and/or has small children.
 
 

 

Specialized Treatment, Education and Prevention Services Inc. was founded in 1983 by a group of concerned citizens and is dedicated to serving the needs of the community.  At Specialized Treatment, Education and Prevention Services Inc., clients are recognized as individuals who possess the inner resources necessary to create the desired positive change in their lives. Treatment consists of facilitating clients in accessing and utilizing those resources to live responsible as productive members of the community.

Specialized Treatment, Education and Prevention  Services Inc. is licensed by the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families to provide substance abuse services.  STEPS is also certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
